Fields of fire / symbolizing fertility and future. Great blazes / competing with the sun.
We must re-direct their anger. Re-ignite and re-name their passion.
It’s not too late for mothering and macaroni and cheese. It’s not too late for an afternoon of fathering and fishing.

This is for the thin line between womanism and black feminism. They both speak to our social and political intersections as black women. Black feminism is everything that womanism is… I really black women are hesitant to claim the word – feminism.
But label or box or symbol, it doesn’t matter. Black feminism is to womanism as purple is to lavender.
I know how to believe in myself. I know how to talk myself into being great.
I enrolled in acting class to sharpen these stage skills back up. I claim it now… next theatre season, I will return to the stage in a leading role.
