      1. As far as Dr. Grundy, white supremacy is a well oiled machine that is served daily in meals. At some point everyone takes a bite of it and it just so happened that Dr Grundy served it at Harvard and like most persons of color that do not like, it was regurgitated back up. This time by a white man who took offense. White supremacy is gross and the natural reaction is to regurgitate it up and blame the cook. This time the person who cooked the words up was Dr Grundy. I understand why she apologized in addition I think what she said is in relation to how one creates poetry. See, white supremacy is like a thorned flower that has been your yard for as long as you can remember. You don’t like to touch it but then there are times that you look at it and you and you speak on it. Dr. Grundy spoke about a thorned flower that has no secret existence.

    1. That’s right! KCMO baybee! Weeks Elementary and Lincoln Jr and Sr building! Once I went to undergrad and grad school, I just never moved back. But I love my hometown! The majority of my family still lives there 🙂 nice to meet you homegirl!
